	The application will first check whether there is an essential update required, to allow it to check properly for updates. If one is found, the application will prompt that an essential system update is required. When this message is cleared, the device will prompt you to install the update. When this is complete, click OK.

	This process will also check if there has been any functional changes to the EPOD application, resulting in an update required to the main functionality. If so, the application will display a screen showing you the version download, and the update required. The screen will direct you through downloading then installing the update to the application.
