Time and Expense Categories
This screen allows the users to maintain the Time and Esxpense categories within the system. When enabled, these are used by the driver to enter time and expense information against a job during the processing of the job, in addition to all the job-related information on the job.
This page provides functionality to View, Create and Edit T&E Categories.
The screen allows users to filter data by:
- Description - the description to be displayed when used.
- Type - a drop-down list of Time or Expense.
Once the filter information is entered and the Search button is pressed, all matching categories are displayed in a table below.

A single line is displayed per category found.
Details shown are:
- Description - the category description to be displayed when used.
- Type - The type of the category, eitehr Time or Expense.
New Categories
The screen allows new categories to be created, by pressing the provided New button at the top of the screen.
The following details may be entered:
- Description - the description to be displayed when used.
- Type - a drop-down list of Time or Expense.
A Save button is provided to save the entered data. Clicking Close will discard the new category.
View/Edit Categories
The categories can be viewed and edited by clicking the Select button against the line in the table. The screen will display a pop-up showing all the details of the category.
The category may be edited by clicking the provided Edit button.
The following fields may be edited here:
- Description - the description to be displayed when used.
- Type - a drop-down list of Time or Expense.
A Save button is provided to save the edited values.
A Delete button is provided to delete the category.
Changes may be discarded by clicking the Close button.
