SUMMARY INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION

The main aim of this document is to provide CALIDUS WMS users with the level of detail required to accurately test all software included in the patch. The document also contains set-up and configuration details to enable the user to configure the system correctly for the new functionality to work.

TESTING PROCESS

TIDs AND RESOLUTION

If there are any areas of the functionality that are not acceptable or do not meet the requirement specified in the Change Request then these should be expressed by raising a TID.


FINAL 'END TO END' TESTING

Prior to release to a production database, a full 'End to End' test is required on the test system by all sites using the database. Once this is signed off, a release date can be arranged.


AUTHORISATION

Authorisation from nominated release personnel only will be required when requesting a release to a production environment

'Single SKUs per Pallet' can be N (not single SKU pallet building), Y (single SKU pallet building) or A (single SKU pallet building but allow top-up with stock for other SKUs).

'Allow SKUs on Split Pallets?' can be N (do not allow remaining stock for SKU to be split over multiple pallets) or Y (do allow split pallets).

A pre-pass process will be run when the above parameters are active to ensure that the stock for the SKUs is processed first to build full pallets or to build a part pallet for a SKU and then top-up with stock for another SKU as long as that stock can be included in the remaining space on the pallet when the SKU is not allowed to be split over multiple pallets.

Detail of Fix The ASN reference for the MNS despatch advice message will be based on a database sequence number for when the TMS-WMS interface is not active. This number will be used as the load reference number.

The MNS and TES despatch advice message will include any consolidated sales orders in the same pack reference when they have are contained on the same pallet.

The production of the MNS despatch note will not require a TMS trip reference to be stored for when the TMS-WMS interface is not active.

The load reference number will be generated for the route/load using the database sequence number when either the despatch note is printed first or the ASN message is generated first.
