If special instructions are entered for the job LFL want to force the driver to view these instructions and positively confirm that they have been accessed. This will require some audit ability within the maintenance system to track this process. |
Aptean Solution |
The system will have a new flag added to identify whether this is process is in force.
The PDA application will be modified so that it recognises this flag. If this is the case, when a Job is started by clicking on the Start button, the Instructions tab will be displayed with a button to confirm reading the instructions. The job can only be started by clicking this button. Cancelling out will cancel the start of the job. In this way, no auditing is required - if a job is completed by a user, they must have clicked the button and agreed that they have read the instructions. If not, they will not be allowed to complete the job. |
