Introduction

This document describes the contents of this Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device release.


Platforms/Databases

The release will be tested against & supported only for the following platform/database combinations:

  • Android O/S 4.4.x Kit Kat or higher on previously verified devices

This is a release of the Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device application.


Released Incidents / Changes

This release contains the following fixes/changes:

CTY Issue 525358

  • Now possible to reopen a cancelled item.

CTY Issue 526634

  • No longer possible to edit torque settings after job is complete or cancelled.

CTY Issue 524458

  • Fix “Please Wait” message when changing a part search

CTY Issue 526792

  • Display quantity on part search if available.

Topic Action Description
Usage Service Product Installation / Removal For Part Search, the quantity can only be displayed when doing a part search in Elucid, and can only be displayed when searching for van stock or for customer stock.

The quantity that can be displayed is only the quantity that is known in the vehicle at that time, not taking into account the products that are marked as being used on that service, or products that have been used on that service. Further, the device styling must be configured to display that information, which has not been completed as part of this change.


Performance Notes

It is not thought that this change will have any impact on performance although it is our recommendation that the performance of all areas of the application is validated during testing to ensure that performance is still good.

Android mobile device application release 4.5.0.0 must be active prior to this release.
