Introduction

This document describes the contents of this Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device release.


Platforms/Databases

The release will be tested against & supported only for the following platform/database combinations:

  • Android O/S 4.4.x Kit Kat or higher on previously verified devices

This is a release of the Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device application.


Released Incidents / Changes

This release contains the following fixes/changes:

CTY Issue 528727

  • Remove ability to add a new service item on anything except a fleet inspection

CTY Issue 531884

  • Fixed issue with duplicate install records. Note: Not allowed to create a duplicate work type in that position any more - must delete the existing one first.

CTY Issue 524458

  • Display Please Wait when doing a part search and selecting a part from the results

CTY Issue 528665

  • Fix: prompted to complete or cancel the incomplete product lines when completing the service item (vehicle)

CTY Issue 532147

  • not forced to cancel the removal and install when completing the service item (vehicle)

CTY Issue 524532

  • Fix: Delete then add removal on same tyre position will display the new removal.

CTY Issue 527142

  • Fix: Sending wrong product on line when creating a duplicate install i.e. for the same tyre position.

CTY Issue 524427

  • Fix to removal being prompted twice.

Topic Action Description
Usage Service Product Installation / Removal Only a single product line for each work type can exist against a tyre position. If you want to replace an install, remove or other work line, you should first delete the existing line, then add a new one. Alternatively, just modify the existing line details.


Performance Notes

It is not thought that this change will have any impact on performance although it is our recommendation that the performance of all areas of the application is validated during testing to ensure that performance is still good.
