Aptean POD - Calidus Edition - Device Application

Introduction

This document describes the contents of this Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device release.


Platforms/Databases

The release will be tested against & supported only for the following platform/database combinations:

  • Android O/S 4.4.x Kit Kat or higher on previously verified devices

User Notes

This is a release of the Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device application.


Released Incidents / Changes

This release contains the following fixes/changes:

CTY Issue 369

Confirm deletion of service product;

Change default click action on Service Product to Details (if present) rather than Delete.


Setup

Details of any system setup required by either Aptean or Client.

By Reference Description
Client Installation The APK needs to be updated/installed on devices


User Instructions

User details and instructions of the new or changed process

Topic Action Description
Usage Tyres (Service Products) The application now defaults to Details on the list rather than Delete, so take care in selecting the correct option.

If delete is selected, there is now a confirmation dialogue.


Performance Notes

It is not thought that this change will have any impact on performance although it is our recommendation that the performance of all areas of the application is validated during testing to ensure that performance is still good.


Related Releases

There are no related releases, although it is strongly recommended that EPOD server release 4.5.1.11 is released along-side this change, to enable previously released system functionality and essential bug fixes.
