Aptean POD - Calidus Edition - Admin Application

Introduction

This document describes the contents of this Aptean POD – Calidus Edition admin and server release.

Platforms/Databases

The release will be tested against & supported only for the following platform/database combinations:

• Windows Server 2008 or above using SQL Server 2008/2012.
• Internet Explorer version 9.0 (and above) with JavaScript and Cookies enabled.
• FireFox version 26 (and above).
• Chrome version 32. (and above).

This is a release of the Aptean POD – Calidus Edition Test environment at Aptean.

Released Incidents / Changes

This release contains the following fixes/changes:

File Exports – Added Ftps

• Development to add SSL to ftp for exports.

MLP pod note format

• Removed Qty from weight calculation for the MLP pod note format.

Fix for imports – Close connections correctly

• Bug fix to close connections correctly for imports in case there are multiple threads.

Fix for webservices - Load deletion

• Allow for loads to be deleted correctly if a blank load start planned date was passed in.

493480 – Load screen date search

• Default the data range search based on the last date range used when you re-enter the loads screen.

BRC Issue 37 - Show address not postcode

• Bug fix to the Job Sequencing screen - the screen now shows the full address if there is a job address without duplicating line 2 of the address.

BRC Issue 39 – Auto Email

• Added some more debug messages to Auto-Export emailing process when there has been an error sending emails.

BRC Issue 26 – Auto-emailing reports.

• With this change, TLS1.2 is enabled for automatic emailing through email servers where SSL is enabled.

This release also includes a data implementation script for BRC to set up the system data as required by the customer.

BRC Device product display.

• Changed style to display job sequence on products list.

BRC Issues 31 and 32 – Job Assignment screen.

• Remove Add All button and show job address rather than just postcode .

BRC Issue 29 – Transport Job creation.

• Copy Final delivery address to transport job..

BRC Issue 35 – Job Sequencing.

• Change to list jobs by sequence.

BRC Issue 6 – consolidated jobs.

• Fix job consolidation by not updated the linked id on the server unless the job is complete.

BRC Issue 13 – fixed search in Job Assignment screen.

• Change to filters in job assignment screen.

BRC Issue 14 – Job Assignment added Save and Exit option.

• New option to Save and Exit when changes are saved.

BRC Issue 16 – Job Sequencing.

• Change to generate sequences differently when creating transport trip.

2227783 – Grant Westfield POD note.

• New Grant Westfield POD note.

440290 – BRC – Added Loose Products label to Containers screen.

• Added terms across the board; Display "Loose Products" when a loose products container.

440290 – BRC – Email export.

• Added Email_Server_User parameter to all email sends, and set TLS1.2 for SSL sends (most modern standard).

279355 – Job Id generation.

• Changed the system to allow jobs ids to be generated using a sequential number sequence stored on a new EPOD_LAST_NUMBER table. This is controlled using a UseLastNumbers webconfig flag. Caution should be taken when switching it on to ensure the value on the EPOD_LAST_NUMBER table is higher than the already existing job id for that site.

440290-05 – BRC Transport Jobs change.

• Change request to generate loads and jobs for the transport site based upon loads and jobs entered in the warehouse site. Warehouse and transport loads are linked using new linked load functionality added to the load header screen. Xml imports have also been changed to allow an EPOD_JOBS_UPDATE message type to be passed in.

440290-04 – BRC Load Maintenance/Job Assignment.

• New Site flags and System Parameter records to set default planned start and end dates for the load for the day. Open the Job Assignment screen automatically after creating the load etc.

296832 – Site cleardown script.

• Internal script written to allow test sites to be cleared down quickly.

277576 – Linked jobs Job Instructions.

• Fixed to preventing Job Instructions from being set to blank on the original job when creating a linked job in the job details screen.

253556 – Export Maintenance screen.

• Allow entry into the Message Type field for new TTM exports.

271367 – Vehicle Checks.

• Allow setting of resolution notes for Vehicle Checks at status ‘Defect’.

273319 – Message Process

• Fix the setting of parameter strings. For job updates, the setting of the load status to ‘Complete’ was failing for load ids of more than 10 characters.

253556 – Export Maintenance screen.

• Allow entry into the Message Type field for TTM exports..

252598 – Job Maintenance.

• Fix to prevent the customer name from being set to blank when the job is editied.

262648 – Palletforce Export

• Fix to exception handling for Palletforce export to prevent export crashing when trying to record an exception. Mark failed jobs as being failed to prevent them being reprocessed. For the Job Trigger, the check for container records being at completed status has been removed.

• Fix to remove incorrect property setting.

• Fix to create products correctly. Prevent null insert error.

• Various changes for Hewicks. Display last 3 loads on the POD note. Changed label from “Web:

“ to “Email:” on the POC note.

• Fixes to file uploads for Customer Maintenance, Product Maintenance, Codes Maintenance, User and Vehicle Maintenance. Fix to Job screen when adding expenses.

356892, 229608 – Fix to stored procedure.

• Fix to stored procedure to prevent the release process from crashing.

231070 – TTM Export

• Fix to TTM Export. Amended ProcessJobLockRequest to produce correct OIT/ARR message types. If Arrivals not is use, ARR produced after job lock.

236798 – Import/Export Audit screen.

• Fixed default sort order of records displayed to be by Request Date/Time descending.

237127 – TTM Exports.

• Fix to update the TTM export flag against the job differently at the end of the export process.

238366 – added extra auditing for job exports.

• Added extra auditing for ftp Job exports.

01805061 - Email export.

• Added ‘Auto Email Job Type’ to Job Group and Site Maintenance screens. Allows filtering of Job Types for the Auto Email export process.

• New Product Scanning Report option in the Reports screen.

222554 – 01742521 – Asset Tracking.

• Fix for Asset Tracking to allow the Asset Count values to be updated correctly when a Job Update is processed.

230843 – 01759110 EPOD Email Export.

• EPOD Email Export incomplete email address fix to mark the export as “Error”. This should allow us to trace issues where the client has created an incorrect email address.

232281 – 01781061 Email Export timeout.

• Added config setting for Export to control how long POD note production is allowed to take. Improved exception handling and logging to help track errors in future.

231264 – Prevent In Progress job from Export.

• Fix for Job Export to prevent In Progress orders from being exported to ctms. This should prevent these jobs from being marked as POD on ctms.

• Fix for POST type exports to allow xml messages to be sent correctly.

217307 – 01728362 – Palletforce export fix.

• Fix for Palletforce type exports to prevent an export record from being created if there are no containers on the job.

229608 – 01756813 – Palletforce export fix.

• Fix for Palletforce type exports to prevent an export record from being created if all of the containers on the job have been cancelled.

219159 – 01733138 – Palletforce Import.

• Fix for Palletforce Import to catch file level exceptions to prevent the process from crashing if a file level error occurs. Speeded up by linking to epod load more efficiently. Allowed for columns 63 and 64 being optional. Handle blank site ids by skipping most of the record processing and continuing through the rest of file.

• Fix for PF2 to allow for blank dates and time.

• Fix for Job Group screen to allow new Job Groups to be created successfully.

• Fix to export to produce error and prevent the export poller from crashing if no files are produced from the Palletforce export.

216679 – 01725860 – PF2 export.

• Fix to remove update of job epl_xfer_flag to prevent job status rollbacks.

Incident 231264: Testing feedback 01 Jul 2021.

• Fixed an issue which was allowing the system to use deleted interface config records when processing exports causing multiple POD notes to be sent.
