Functional Overview
Client Requirement
OBSL have agreed to develop the delivery notes for HSL, La-Z-Boy and Cavendish. All customer formats other than these listed will be variants on the HSL format only, differing only in Logo and T&Cs.
Solution Overview
The formats have been confirmed via Hayley Ashton with the end customers. There will be two formats:
- A generic format, designed for the use of most Andrew Porter customers.
- A specific format, designed initially for the use of Cavendish.
These two formats (labelled as Andrew Porter 1 and Andrew Porter 2) will be configurable against the Job Group, which will be received against the job. There will be one agreed Job Group for each end customer, and a generic one for Andrew Porter-specific jobs.
Scope
- These changes will be made in the latest version of the CALIDUS ePOD product only.
- The changes will be made to the Android CALIDUS ePOD client only.
Set-up
Pre-requisites
Menu Structure
Data
A Job Group record should be created for each End Customer. The settings should include:
- Appropriate Terms and Conditions
- Customer Signature
- User Notes
- The appropriate POD and POC format
- A Logo for the POD/POC
A Customer should also be set up with a customer code set to the Job Group, for users of the second POD format. . This should be set up with the address information for the POD/POC header. For example, the information for Cavendish is:
- 'Cavendish Upholstery' - EPL_CUSTOMER_NAME
- 'Mayfield Mill' - EPL_ADDRESS_1
- 'Briercliffe Road' - EPL_ADDRESS_2
- 'Chorley, Lancashire' - EPL_ADDRESS_3
- 'PR6 0DA' - EPL_POSTCODE
- '01257 277664|01257 261665' - EPL_TELEPHONE
- '[email protected]' - EPL_EMAIL
- 'VAT No. GB 137 6009 75 Reg. No. 1912412 England' - EPL_ADDRESS_4
- 'A member of the Airsprung Group PLC' - EPL_ADDRESS_5
Functional Description
Admin
The Job Group and Site screens (job_group.aspx and site_header.aspx respectively) will be modified to allow the system to be configured for the new Andrew Porter reports, by adding this as an option to the DDLs in the editing pop-up forms, for both POD and POC format. Additionally, the grid will be modified to display this correctly if selected.

Both of these POD formats have been prototyped - these are available on request for the developer to base the final formats.
The formats created here should follow the standardised pagination code used in other formats.
