Traffic Control (or Transfer of Custody) is a system for ensuring that all haulier deliveries or collections are checked, recorded and signed-off by the vehicle driver. This is achieved using a web application, optimised for use on a tablet computer, where the driver can view the details of the transaction and record their signature.
The system comprises the following screens:
- Login screen: displayed if the user is not logged in or if the login session expires
- Expected Traffic: displays Bay Diary traffic bookings expected within a defined time window that have not yet arrived.
- Current Traffic: displays Bay Diary traffic bookings that have arrived, within a defined time window, that have not yet departed
- Once a booking has been processed in Bay Diary then the Depart button is is displayed which opens the Departure screen
- Departure: displays the details of a Bay Diary traffic booking and allows the vehicle driver to enter a signature, whereupon the booked is set to Departed; displays the following information:
- Driver Name
- Terms and Conditions
- Notes - can be edited
- Allows driver to sign - signature panel
