This is the Hazard Class Maintenance (HGS0005) screen.
Initial Query and Viewing Existing Data:
- You click the Enter Query button.
- You can enter a class or description to query, or just leave them blank.
- You click the Execute Query button.
- The screen populates with a list of existing hazard classes and their descriptions, displayed in a table with Class and Description columns. Examples include "Explosives" (Class 1.1 to 1.6), "Gases" (Class 2 to 2.3), and "Flammable liquids" (Class 3).
Inserting a New Record:
- You click the Insert Record button.
- A new, blank row appears in the table.
- You type into the Class field of the new row.
- You then type into the Description field of the new row.
Saving the New Record:
- You click the Save button.
- A message appears at the bottom left, "FRM-40400: Transaction complete: 1 records applied and saved."
Deleting a Record and Confirmation:
- You click the Remove Record button.
- An "Alert" dialog box appears . You click OK to confirm.
