Released Incidents / Changes
This release contains the following fixes/changes:
- 367017; Added additional item processing.
If the user scans an item for the same destination that belongs to a different trip, currently the system will set that items as status 'Loaded' immediately (if the system is not configured to despatch solely to plan).
The system has changed to identify these additional items more easily, to to remove them from the load when scanned again, as opposed to simply marking them as unloaded and requiring them to be marked as an exception.
Setup
Details of any system setup required by either OBS or Client:
By | Reference | Description |
---|---|---|
OBS | 367017 | New C-TMS System parameter MCS_DISPLAY_ADDITIONAL must be configured on the system to allow the functionality to work as expected. Note that if the system parameter MCS_DESPATCH_TO_PLAN is set, no additional items can be added and this is not required. |
User Instructions
User details and instructions of the new or changed processes:
Topic | Action | Description |
---|---|---|
Despatch | Scanning Additional Items | When an additional item has been scanned as loaded, if this item is canned again, the user will be offered the option to remove this item (rather than reset the item to Unloaded status). |
Performance Notes
It is not expected that this change will have any positive or adverse impact on system performance.
