FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW
Client Requirement
Remove the date from the field validation when an ASN deletion message is received from SAP. All other validation should be retained.
Solution
Remove the delivery date selection from the procedure REVERSE_TI within the package BKG which is called from the ASN delete code in order to cancel the order that was generated by the GEN_TI originally for this booking.
Scope
This change will be applied to system version MTS V10.6.0 for Saudi Aramco.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
Currently for Saudi Aramco the delivery date on the ASN delete message has to exactly match the delivery date on the last ASN update message otherwise the code fails to find and then delete any orders generated from this booking.
The ASN delete message runs a procedure called REVERSE_TI from within the BKG package in order to delete any generated orders.
The package BKG is to be updated to make a change to the REVERSE_TI procedure to enable orders generated from the booking to be reversed (deleted) regardless of the value of the delivery date passed in from the delete message.
