Functional Overview
Client Requirement
Change the function of Right Click pop-up box 'Remove driver/Trailer/Tractor, and Alloc Res,' in waterfall screen. Allow all options to open Allocate resource screen
Right Click in Waterfall screen invokes options to Remove Driver/Trailer/Tractor and Allocate resource -change the function of these options as changes should be performed in the Allocate resources screen. Configure the buttons to open the Allocate resources screen.
Solution
The right click option on all blocks (Summary and detail) will be changed for the options:-
Remove Driver
Remove Trailer
Remove TractorAllocate Resource
When any of these options is chosen the Allocate Resource screen will be opened instead of their current functionality. This change will not be parameterised so will affect all users of the Waterfall screen.
Functional Description
When entering the TRIP_OVERVIEW screen the user is always shown the ‘ALL’ tab with a section for trips in different statuses. Sections for status PLANNED and ACCEPTED trips have a right-click menu (named MAIN) as displayed below:
Currently options ‘Remove Driver’, ‘Remove Tractor’ and ‘Remove Trailer’ will remove the current resource within the Trip Overview screen.
It has been requested that selecting these options, as well as the ‘Allocate Resources’ option, should always open up the TRIP_RES (Allocate Resources) screen. It is within this form that the user must remove/add resources.
There are also sub tabs in this screen where the user can view all trips for a specific status. Again, the right-click menu (named SUB) for PLANNED and ACCEPTED trips displays as below:
This will also have its requested menu options edited to open up the TRIP_RES form.
