FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW

Client Requirement

Add fields into the Trip Debrief form to capture the following data:

Doc Rec (Document Received Date) DU Rec (Pallets Received)

DU Rec should be populated with N unless Doc Rec has been populated in which case it should be populated with P. Note that the Polish team may require a colour coded flag to be associated with this, this should be confirmed with the Polish Implementation team.

These two fields should be added to the Configure Layout block.


Solution

After discussion with Dave Meir we have proposed the below solution.

Four new fields will be added to the Trip Debrief screen.

  • Ticket Returned
  • Ticket Date
  • Received Du Type
  • Received Qty

These field will also be added to the configure block functionality.

The Med Du Type and Med Qty fields will be renamed to Exchange Du Type and Exchange Qty. The Ticket Returned flag will be set to ‘N’ if the value is changed to ‘Y’ then the Ticket Date must be entered. The Received DU Type will be a drop down similar to the existing Med Du Type field.


Scope

This change will be applied to system version 10.6.


FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

Four new fields will be added to the Order Debrief tab on the Trip Debrief screen (TRIP_DTL). The fields to be added are –

  • Ticket Returned
  • Ticket Date
  • Received Du Type
  • Received Qty

The fields will be added to the end of the current layout.

To allow the visibility of these fields they will be added to the Layout configuration. This will enable the users to manipulate layout to show the required fields.

The existing fields Media_Returns_DU_Type and Media_Returns_Quantity will be renamed Exchange_DU_Type and Exchange_Qty.

The new fields will be inserted either side of these fields so the order will be –

  • Ticket Returned
  • Ticket Date
  • Exchange Du Type
  • Exchange Qty
  • Received Du Type
  • Received Qty

Ticket Returned will be a one character field with the value of Y or N allowed. Initially the value will be set to N. When the value is changed to Y the user will be prompted to enter the Ticket Date field. If the value of Ticket received is Y then a Ticket Date must be entered.

Received DU Type will be a drop down list containing the DU Types available.

A new table called SCH_EQUIPMENT_MOVES will be created to capture the details entered in these fields. When one of the above fields is changed a trigger will fire. This will write a record to the new table capturing the date and time of the action. It will also capture the quantity, DU type, and trip / order information associated with the equipment move.

The new table will allow quantity changes to be captured for any of the movements.
