FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW
Client Requirement
Changes to the Trip Sheet as per the following description:
Solution
Change the report (PL_TRIP_SHEET) as per the client requirement as shown in the graphic above.This will be accomplished by changing the primary SQL query which drives the report.
There may be issues with fitting all the requested data into the form, it is anticipated that the draft copies of the amended report will need to be viewed by the client during development – with feedback given regarding spacing and layout.
This time for re-drafting and re-editing to obtain the correct layout is included in the development time below.

This change will be applied to system version 10.6.

Data
Additional data will be included into the report query to satisfy the required additional output in the design shown above.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The trip sheet report (PL_TRIP_SHEET) will be changed, as per the client requirement as shown in the requirements section.
Changes to be made as follows :-
GPS field. (header information per trip)
As an additional data entry for carrier details, the contact telephone number assigned to the specific tractor will be displayed.
Contact person. (header information per trip)
Currently only the contact name is displayed. This detail need to be expanded to include:
• Job title
• Forename
• Surname
• Phone number
All the persons mentioned in the contacts list for the owning depot location should be displayed.
Planned Arrival / Departure (header information per trip)

This information will be included to instruct the carrier driver when to arrive at the warehouse for loading. These dates and times will always print from the trips details stop 1, this being the SU or startup location for the trip.
Location (detail line information per stop of a trip)
Currently the location id is displayed for each stop on the trip. This will be changed to display the location name as set up on location maintenance. It will be more informative for the carrier to show the location name of the company for each stop rather than the coded location id in each stop. This field will probably be word wrapped to fit into the available space for the longer company names.
Address (detail line information per stop of a trip)
The address details for each stop of each trip will be expanded to include the property number and the street name as well as the town and zip code.
