FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW

Client Requirement

We need to change the mapping of data for the export out of IIPF for Tesco's - without changing the structure of the existing export. Martyn Mann/Daventry/UK/Exel.

On the export we extract Trailer ID from the trip - we need to keep the same heading, but the data needs to be taken from the Crew 2 field within the trip. This is a short term fix to allow the correct data for Sea shipments to go to Tesco's as the Trailer ID field cannot be increased to allow full vessel name + this has the added benefit of having a dropdown selection to ensure the correct data is sent.

Solution

The existing Purchase order export will be altered to accommodate the changes required. The Trip Trailer ID field will now be taken from the Crew 2 field (see trip screens). The trailer id column on the interface table will be increased in size to allow these new values to be stored.

Scope

This change will be applied to system version 10.5.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The existing export will be altered to display the crew 2 field as the trailer id. The crew 2field will contain the vessel name.

The value in this field will be displayed as the trailer id on the Purchase Order Message in the <TRAILER_ID> tag within the <TRIP_TRACKING> segment.

Once the vessels have been set up against the drivers, this field and the export will show the vessel.
