FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATION - 10.6

08/11/2010 - 0.1
Reference: 282442 JB-8AG2PE

Client Requirement

Change Request Summary:
Modify LOTS / Microlise XML messages generated from CTMSStuart Foster/Milton Keynes/UK/NFC
Change Request Details:
1. For the messages sent from CTMs to LOTS , make the following message types to be one message per order rather than multiple messages in one file generated every 5 mins.
BOO
SCN
RBO
CAN

2. Change the current filename convention for the CTMS to MICROLISE & CTMS to LOTS flow where message type is TRP from <SOURCE>_<DESTINATION>_<DATABASE>_<MESSAGE_TYPE>_<DATETIME>.XML (what I think is current) <SOURCE>_<DESTINATION>_<OWNING_DEPOT>_<MESSAGE_TYPE>_<DATETIME>.XML (what I think is current)3.Change the current filename convention for the CTMS to LOTS message for none TRP events (BOO,SCN,CAN,RBO from <SOURCE>_<DESTINATION>_<DATABASE>_<MESSAGE_TYPE>_<DATETIME>.XML (what I think is current) <SOURCE>_<DESTINATION>_<WMS_OWNER>_<MESSAGE_TYPE>_<DATETIME>.XML (what I think is current)4. Apply the 2.10 XSD that Graham Rothwell is developing , to the LOTS flows generated out of CTMS and for inbound from LOTS.

Benefits identified as a result of the change:
Allows ESI to easily split the messages up by owning contract. For future implementations it will save cost. This is my proposed solution but need to discuss with OBS analyst.

Solution

Scope

This change will be applied to system version 10.6.0 on CONTST and once approved CONPRD.

Set-up

Pre-requisites

None

Menu Structure

Unchanged

Data

2 new system parameters required for controlling the file name and the use of the latest XSD.

Functional Description

Only the Microlise changes and the application of the XSD will be developed. The microlise changes will be applied to the PROCESS_XML_OUTBOUND_MIC procedure of INT_XML_OUT2 package.

The changes to the filename will be parameterised based on a new system parameter MIC_OWNING_DEPOT. If this parameter is set to Y, the filename will be changed to include the owning_depot rather than the DATABASE.

The latest version of the XSD will be applied. Again this will be based on a system parameter called STOP_PID. If the parameter is set to Y, then the stop_pid will be included in the output. Stop_pid relates to the LAST 6 DIGITS of sch_trip_stop.trip_id from the database. The changes will be made in the GEN_STOP_DET procedure of INT_XLM_OUT2.
