Client Requirement
Change Request Summary:
Changes Required to C-TMS Message Flow "PreAllocation Report" C-TMS to Unison.
Change Request Details:
- Change the T001 "Departure Time" output to take the "Planned Arrive Time" of the home depot.
- Include a new message file trigger - When the Depot "Planned Arrive Time" is changed.
Benefits identified as a result of the change:
This will now be in line with the C-TMS CN Warehouse Extract.
Solution
The production of the file generated by C-TMS for upload into Unison will be changed to trigger a message for changes to the arrival date and time which will be used instead of the departure date and time.
- The planned arrival date and time will be included in the ‘T001’ line instead of the planned departure date and time.
- A new trigger event will be introduced for when the planned arrival date or time is changed for a stop on a trip from the owning depot (as specified by system parameter ‘CTMS_OUTBOUND_TRIP_OWNING_DEPOT’) with a Unison sales order present.
The existing trigger event for the insertion and deletion of orders at the trip stop will be retained and the same verification will be used for the trigger in point 2 above.
The format of the message will not be different because the arrival and departure dates and times are of the same data types.
The arrival date and time will then correspond to the ‘Load Date’ and ‘Depart Time’ of the ‘CN Warehouse Extract’.
Scope
This change will be applied to system version 10.6.

Functional Description
Interface Message Package (INT_MSG)
The interface message will be changed to ensure that the planned arrival date and time will be included in the ‘T001’ line instead of the planned departure date and time.
The format of the message will not be different because the arrival and departure dates and times are of the same data types.
The arrival date and time will then correspond to the ‘Load Date’ and ‘Depart Time’ of the ‘CN Warehouse Extract’.
The function ‘INT_MSG.F_PROCESS_OUTBOUND_TRIP_DTL’ will be changed to obtain the arrival time and not the departure time for the trip stop.
Trigger (T_SCH_TRIP_STOP_IUD)
A new trigger event will be introduced for when the planned arrival date or time is changed for a stop on a trip from the owning depot (as specified by system parameter ‘CTMS_OUTBOUND_TRIP_OWNING_DEPOT’) with a Unison sales order present.
The existing trigger event (i.e. trigger ‘T_SCH_HAULAGE_ACTIVITY_BIU’) for the insertion and deletion of orders at the trip stop will be retained and the same verification will be used for the trigger described above.
The new trigger event will be included in the existing trigger ‘T_SCH_TRIP_STOP_IUD’ for when the column ‘ARRIVE’ is changed on the table ‘SCH_TRIP_STOP’ for ‘UPDATING’ activities.
The event will write a message on the ‘INT_TRIP_DTL’ table for the message type defined by system parameter ‘CTMS_OUTBOUND_TRIP_MSG_TYPE’ (i.e. ‘EXELBAWT_TRIP_DTL’).
The same logic that exists for the ‘INSERTING’ and ‘DELETING’ activities in trigger ‘T_SCH_HAULAGE_ACTIVITY_BIU’ will apply for the new event (i.e. system parameter ‘CTMS_OUTBOUND_TRIP_FLAG’ is ‘Y’ and ‘CTMS_OUTBOUND_TRIP_MSG_TYPE’ is set, plus the Unison sales order is loaded at the location defined by system parameter ‘CTMS_OUTBOUND_TRIP_OWNING_DEPOT’ and a message is not waiting to be sent).
