This system parameter will be used to exclude any order lines that have not been packed or despatched from the Microlise files. The new EDI parameters called 'EXCLUDE_UNPACKD_LINE' and 'INC_PACKED_TO_DEL' will need to be set to 'Y' for the appropriate EDI processes. These EDI parameters will be used in the outbound XML files as follows: 'EXCLUDE_UNPACKD_LINE' will be used to exclude any order lines that have not been packed or despatched from the XML files. 'INCLUDE_PACKED_TO_DEL' will be used to include the packed quantity of an order line in preference to the planned quantity. In summary: LOTS: Files will be generated using the existing trigger points and no changes will be made to the contents of the files. Microlise (for both the Direct and Indirect methods of file transfer): Files will also be triggered when the packed quantity is changed for an order line when the trip is ACCEPTED and the system parameter MIC_SEND_ACCEPTED is Y for the cost centre of the trip: the packed quantity will be assessed against the planned quantity of the order line if the packed quantity is being set for the first time or against the previous packed quantity. The order lines will include the packed quantity and the packed RPE quantity in preference to the planned quantities if the delivered or despatched quantities are not set. The system parameter MIC_EXCLUDE_UNPACKED_LINES when set to Y for the cost centre of the order will exclude any order lines that have not been packed or despatched; the order lines that are still planned will be included as normal. The system parameter CUST_UPDATE_ORDER_LINES when set to Y for the customer of the order will continue to be used to only select the order lines that have been despatched, therefore this system parameter and the system parameter MIC be assessed together to include the order lines in the files. Outbound XML (including LOAD/CITD/Electronic Manifest): The files will be generated as they are at present without assessing any changes to the packed quantity. The EDI parameter EXCLUDE_UNPACKD_LINE when set to Y will exclude any order lines that have not been packed or despatched; order lines that are still planned will be included as normal. The EDI parameter INC_PACKED_TO_DEL when set to Y will include the packed and packed RPE quantities in preference to the planned quantities if the delivered or despatched quantities are not set; the order lines that are still planned will be included as normal. The system parameter CUST_UPDATE_ORDER_LINES when set to Y for the customer of the order will continue to be used to only select the order lines that have been despatched, therefore this system parameter and the EDI parameter EXCLUDE_UNPACKD_LINE will be assessed together to include the order lines in the files. The 'Send Enabling Message' can be used to generate a file for Microlise or Smartphone when those methods of tracking are active for the resources assigned to the trip in the PLanning screen. The enabling message will be sent for the method of tracking based on the resource that is assigned to the trip: depot, carrier, driver, tractor or trailer (at the first stop).
