Technical Changes & Special Notes
Technical Changes
The following technical changes have been made as part of this release:
- Build APK, which needs to be installed on the device.
Special Notes
This change has made changes to the device’s database. As such the device database will be automatically cleared and re-created (when the app is opened). This will lose any outstanding data on the device (e.g. partially completed jobs or any data that has not been sent back to the server. As such, before installing this version, it is essential (to avoid any loss of data) to make sure all jobs on the device are either complete or have not been started and that all pending messages have been sent to the server. To ensure all pending messages have been sent the user can use the ‘Send Pending Messages’ menu option from the login screen which will either send any pending messages with a progress bar or inform the user there are no pending messages waiting to be sent.
