Introduction

This document describes the contents of this Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device release.


Platforms/Databases

The release will be tested against & supported only for the following platform/database combinations:

  • Android O/S 4.4.x Kit Kat or higher on previously verified devices

This is a release of the Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device application.


Released Incidents / Changes

This release contains the following fixes/changes:

CTY Issue 335

  • Fix saving product in part search results – now saves category (TYRE) model (vehicle type), size, diameter, load and speed correctly.

Fix issues adding blank row bug when building part search list – this is an internal bug that was affecting performance slightly, and does not affect end users.

Fix issue refreshing UDF – an issue existed whereby some UDF was not redisplayed when there were multiple service items (vehicles) on the service. This has been corrected. Note that this would not affect any existing configurations using the tyre system.

Fix "System Resource Not Closed" warning when building part search - – this is an internal bug that was affecting performance slightly, and does not affect end users.

Removed some debug code from service product masters - – this is an internal bug that was affecting performance slightly, and does not affect end users.

Usage Service With the configuration of the system having Service Info UDF, it is now recommended that this version of the mobile application is used, as it resolves a potential problem displaying Info UDF.


Performance Notes

It is not thought that this change will have any impact on performance although it is our recommendation that the performance of all areas of the application is validated during testing to ensure that performance is still good.


Related Releases

There are no related releases, although it is strongly recommended that EPOD server release 4.5.1.11 is released along-side this change, to enable previously released system functionality and essential bug fixes.
