This document describes the contents of this Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device release.

The release will be tested against & supported only for the following platform/database combinations:

  • Android O/S 4.4.x Kit Kat or higher on previously verified devices

This is a release of the Aptean POD – Calidus Edition device application.

Released Incidents / Changes

This release contains the following fixes/changes:

631116

  • Fixed an issue that meant service items (vehicles)could be updated with data from the server after the service item had been completed on the device.

631572

  • Fixed an issue where service activity (inspection) data could be overwritten with the (empty) data from the server when the job/service item was updated

624285

  • Fixed a potential issue where missing DDLL (Drop-Down List Lookup) field data could prevent UDF data (e.g. inspection data) from being saved.

Topic Action Description
Service Info When amending the reg, the reg must be 12 characters or less. The device will validate this when you try to move tabs or save/complete the service.
Service Add new vehicle When trying to add a new vehicle, the reg must be 12 characters or less. The device will validate this when you try to add the new vehicle.

Performance Notes

It is not thought that this change will have any impact on performance although it is our recommendation that the performance of all areas of the application is validated during testing to ensure that performance is still good.
