This rule can be set to Y when the owner of the pre-advised receipt has used the same advice note number for a GRN to perform extra validation to ensure that the user is informed that there are existing order lines for different SKUs that cannot be recreated. The user can upload a pre-advised receipt using the Update action in a fixed-length file format to update these existing order lines instead of the default Create action. Note that the POD format not include this extra validation so that they can generate new GRNs for each advice note. |
