| Crosswater requires functionality that would allow them to send in back-ordered products in a job with a zero planned quantity. These products should not be initially visible on the device and require no confirmation from the driver, but present on the POD and on the signature screen. |

| The import process (webservices and flat-file in OBS XML format) will be modified to allow the products to be uploaded with an optional status of value "X" and a reason code. If the status is provided, a reason code must be provided, which must be pre-set as a detail-level reason code on the system. It is recommended that a Back-Order reason code is set up for this purpose.
When products are uploaded in this manner, they are seen to be cancelled on the CALIDUS ePOD system, and will be visible in Admin as cancelled. The reason code provided will also be visible in the CALIDUS ePODAdmin system. When the driver starts delivering a job with a mix of deliverable and back-ordered products, only the pending (i.e. not pre-cancelled) products appear on the product list for delivery. When all products are marked as delivered, not delivered or shorted, the device will move to the signature screen - the pre-cancelled products will appear on the list on this signature screen. If the driver backs out of the Signature screen to the delivery screen, the pre-cancelled items will show on the screen, with a status "Cancelled" and a red border. These can then be edited to add comments from the customer if required. |
