Client Request

Following discussion of email of POD documentation, Marshalls cannot open their mail server to trusted relay. To work around this Marshalls propose to send the POD via email from the DMZ the OnBase Pdfs are placed. Marshalls need to differentiate between clean and amended orders to make a decision whether to send the email automatically. After discussion it was suggested that this should be facilitated by highlighting the Status and Amendment flags within the document name.

Aptean Solution

The CALIDUS ePOD Export file naming process will be amended to allow the specification of 2 additional fields in the filename: EPL_STATUS - whether a job was completed successfully ("C") or cancelled ("X"). EPL_AMENDED_FLAG - whether a job at completed status (above) has any amendments on it ("Y") or not ("N"). Note: In the current configuration, any jobs that have user notes are considered to be amended. The current configuration for the customer is as follows in EPOD (although it is noted that this is disabled for MLP): POD_(EPL_JOB_CODE)_(DATE)_(TIME)_(UID) MLP_POD_(EPL_JOB_CODE)_(DATE)_(TIME)_(UID) With these new changes, it is expected that this would be changed as follows: POD_(EPL_JOB_CODE)_(DATE)_(TIME)_(EPL_STATUS)(EPL_AMENDED_FLAG)_(UID) MLP_POD_(EPL_JOB_CODE)_(DATE)_(TIME)_(EPL_STATUS)(EPL_AMENDED_FLAG)_(UID) Examples of POD files exported under this naming convention: For the following details: Job Code: 123456 Date: 23/11/2018 Time: 1:54:26PM Where images files are exported separately for each job, the following files would be generated: Complete (no amendments): POD_123456_20181123_135426_CN_1.pdf POD_123456_20181123_135426_CN_1_images.pdf MLP_POD_123456_20181123_135426_CN_1.pdf MLP_POD_123456_20181123_135426_CN_1_images.pdf Complete (amended): POD_123456_20181123_135426_CY_1.pdf POD_123456_20181123_135426_CY_1_images.pdf MLP_POD_123456_20181123_135426_CY_1.pdf MLP_POD_123456_20181123_135426_CY_1_images.pdf Cancelled: POD_123456_20181123_135426_XN_1.pdf POD_123456_20181123_135426_XN_1_images.pdf MLP_POD_123456_20181123_135426_XN_1.pdf MLP_POD_123456_20181123_135426_XN_1_images.pdf The receiving software may the categorise those considered to be 100% successful (with the new flags set to "CN" in the filename) from those that were not completed 100% or were cancelled (any other combinations of these 2 flags in the filename).
